    I ordered the L&P iD5 split king in Ivory and got it in June 2017. I did a lot of researching on different adjustable bases and ended up picking this one because it was made by a good name and was a furniture style base in the color I wanted. These bases are heavy. Good thing I got the in home delivery service. The only assembly that is required is screwing on the legs. I will say that the photo shows dark brown tapered rectangle type legs but the legs I received have dark brown tapered cylinders. This is not an issue for me. The split king is two twin xl bases. They both come with their own remote and it is pre programmed for that single base. If you have a split king mattress you can stop there but if you have a regular king, you are going to have to sync them up to operate as one. I researched that other bases accomplish this by a sync cable between the bases (can't confirm) but this bed just has you sync each remote to operate each base. So you basically have to follow in the instructions to program remote 1 and remote 2 to base 1. Then program remote 1 and remote 2 to base 2. The delivery company did not do this for me. All they did was deliver, bring upstairs, screw on legs and plug in to make sure it works. If you are tech savvy it wasn't that hard. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because there have been a couple of times where the bases don't operate at the same time. For example, when I press the flat button, only one side goes flat because the other side didn't get the signal. Other beds with the sync cable would not have this issue. It is quickly remedied by hitting the button again though. Once again this only matters if you have a single king mattress and doesn't happen that often. All said and done it is a solid base and very good quality. Whatever base you choose make sure it is a wall hugger as that feature alone separates the men from the boys.

Returns Policy

You may return most items within 30-days of delivery for a refund. The customer is responsible for the return transportation cost in the event of cancellation or return once an order has been shipped or submitted. Custom ordered products and bedding accessories are not eligible for return. Damages If a product arrives damaged, please refuse delivery of the shipment and contact our customer care. If a shipment is not refused at the time of delivery, you are responsible to notate any visible damages or imperfections on the delivery receipt upon signing for acceptance. If you are unable to fully complete your inspection, please indicate "Subject to Inspection" on the delivery receipt or "Possible Damages". We will arrange for a replacement to be sent right away at NO cost to you or issue a full refund if the above mentioned guidelines are followed. Returns Most items can be returned or exchanged within 30-days of delivery. Exchanges can only be made for products of equal or greater value. In the event that the replacement items exceeds the cost of the item being exchanged, the customer will be charged for the difference in cost. All transportation costs are applicable for cancellations, returns and exchanges once an order has been shipped or delivered. Mattresses and furniture must have the original law tag attached and in new, sanitary condition with no stains, tears, burns or any other imperfections caused after delivery. (Limited to one exchange per purchase) *Adjustable bases are non-returnable. All refunds will be credited back to the card and/or account used to make the original purchase, minus any applicable return transportation fees for freight items. Please contact customer service for an estimate of return charges for freight, as fees vary with item size, weight, and carrier. Promo Items Any promotional items received with original mattress purchase such as pillows, linens, mattress protectors, etc. are non-returnable and will be deducted from the return credit. This includes temporary promotional offers valid at the time a purchase is made or at the time of exchange or return. Bedding Certain Products that are considered "hygiene" items can not be returned, such as pillows, sheets, linens, mattress protectors etc. Processing Time If a product is returned you should expect to receive your refund or store credit within 3 to 7 business days after we have received your product and completed inspection.
